One-to-One Mindfulness Sessions
Individual Mindfulness Sessions
Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction and Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy are usually delivered in a group format, which is the most common way of learning mindfulness. Sometimes, attending a course might be difficult due to time constraints, geographical distance or other difficulties, for example if people find groups too challenging. In these situations one-to-one sessions might provide a suitable way to learn mindfulness skills.
How does it Work?
Each session is customised to the person’s needs, ensuring that the skills learned can be practically applied in daily life, helping each person to better cope with life’s challenges.
The sessions are 60 minutes long, allowing for an in-depth exploration of mindfulness practices and for any discussion that might emerge during the sessions. Similarly to the group courses, home practice assignments are given at each session in order to support individuals in deepening their skills on a daily basis.
How Many Sessions?
It is entirely up to every individual to decide how many sessions they want to spend on learning the art of opening to the present moment. It is our experience, however, that a minimum of eight sessions prove to be effective in allowing people to familiarise themselves with the different mindfulness practices and incorporating them into their daily life.
Location and Fees
All sessions are currently delivered remotely, via Zoom, Skype or WhatsApp. Each 60 minutes session costs £50.
